Process

The Conklin EPDM Restoration System process begins with a thorough power wash and cleaning of the existing membrane roof with Wac II roof cleaner. The cleaned surface is then primed with Tack Coat. All seams are reinforced with Spunflex® embedded in either Rapid Roof III® base coat or Equinox® base coat. The entire roof is sealed with either Rapid Roof III topcoat or Equinox top coat.

Goal

The goal of this restoration system is to provide a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for extending the life of existing EPDM roofs. The material used is highly UV resistant and will not break down even with years of exposure to the sun. The system also aims to provide excellent thermal shock and abrasion resistance, and flexibility at low temperatures.

Result

The cool, white reflective coating applied during the restoration process increases energy efficiency, lowers utility expenses, and extends the life of your existing roof.
